2024 was another very good year. We started off with a concert in Birstwith with the Harrogate based choir “Voces Seraphorum”. It’ was a busy summer with o3 agricultural shows (Ripley and Kilnsey & Nidderdale show), Ripon Races and concerts on the Joe Longster Bandstand in Pateley Bridge. We played for wedding service of one of our younger members, Beth and a remembrance service at Darley. While our conductor was away for a few weeks, We were delighted that Professor Philip Wilby could conduct us. He has set a fantastic challenge for the band in 2025 which no doubt you will hear about soon.
Although rain prevented some of our carol playing, our Christmas concerts and village carol playing went down very well.
